In digital marketing, it’s vital to have data points that give you as much information as possible.
In this blog, I’ll run through how to connect your Google Analytics to leverage that useful data in your Google Ad account.
First of all, you’ll want admin access to both accounts (Google Ads and Analytics).
Then, navigate to Google Analytics and click on the Admin cog in the bottom-left of the screen.
In the middle column, you will see an option labelled Google Ads Links. Click this.
Select New link group and ensure that you select the appropriate Google Ad Account ID.
Then just click Continue and you should just be able to finish your set up.
Now, you can use Google Analytics columns in your Google Ad account such as Session Duration and Pages Per Session.
These will help you get richer data in your account and inform your decisions.
Hope this helps!
